Brasil Offshore 2007

Shipham Valves recently exhibited at the Brasil Offshore 2007 Exhibition as a member of the EIC organised British Pavilion, in Macae.

Shipham are a regular participant at the bi-annual Rio Oil & Gas event, and in recognition of the growing importance of the Brazilian offshore market decided to also make our presence felt at the Macae show which is a growing logistics and supply centre for the offshore industry in Brazil.

Brazil accounts for 3/5 of the total South American economy for industrial production and is now looking to increase national oil production from the current 1,9 billion barrels per day to 2,9 billion by 2011. To achieve this will involve bringing a further 20 new projects on stream with a total investment of around $53 billion. More Articles »
