Shipham Valve’s exhibited at the OGTI show in Jakarta for the first time, from October 31 to November 03. The Shipham stand was manned by Sales & Marketing Director, Trevor Fairhurst and Senior International Sales Manager, Steve Walker.
Indonesia is a major hydrocarbons producer with world-scale exploration, production, processing and refining facilities – it is a big market for oil & gas sector equipment and services.
The OGTI series of events are a well established forum for equipment suppliers to showcase their goods to the local hydrocarbon industries.
Steve Walker was hugely encouraged by the volume and quality of visitors from the local EPC and end-user community including; PT Tripatra, PT Rekayasa, PT IKPT, PT Gunanusa, PT Nisconi, PT Total Indonesie, PT Punj Lloyd, PT Sempec, PT Man Ferrostaal and Total Borneo.
Steve commented “ We have recently secured a number of contracts in the Indonesian offshore sector and the interest shown by the high profile visitor level to our stand gives us much optimism for our future growth in this region.”
