Valve World Asia 2007

The second Valve World Asia Conference & Exhibition was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center on October 17th & 18th. A total of 80 companies were showcasing the latest in flow control technology to an international audience.

Flow Group made a big impact at the exhibition with an impressive booth promoting all the group companies, including recent acquisition Leeds Valve. The first day visitor level of 3,500 kept group staff very busy and prompted group Managing Director, John Wall, to reflect on a vibrant show resulting in a number of significant new contacts offering additional long term business opportunities in the rapidly developing China market.

Building on the successful Valve World events staged in Europe, and encouraged by this years’ show, the next Valve World Asia will be held in the Chinese city of Suzhou in 2009.
