Shipham Valves Receives DuPont Approval

Shipham Valves, a trading division of UK based Flow Group Limited, are pleased to announce the recent approval of its products by DuPont.

Following an extensive evaluation process including testing and examination of sample valve body castings by an independent laboratory, DuPont of Willmington, Delaware, has granted P1V piping specification approval to Shiphams range of high alloy gate, globe, check and ball valves.

This is a worldwide product approval and allows selection of Shiphams valves and installation on chemical process plants in 70 countries globally in which DuPont operate. DuPont is one of the worlds leading chemical producers offering a wide range of innovative products and services for markets including agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety & protection, home & construction, transportation and apparel.

Tom Loftis, Shipham Sales Manager for the Americas, who worked closely with Willmington based DuPont Engineering during the evaluation process commented,   "This is a very important approval for Shipham Valves as it recognises the importance we attach to product quality and integrity. Endorsement by a company of DuPonts standing is a major accomplishment for our company."
