Valve Material Selection for Seawater Service

Shipham Valves supplies gate, globe, ball and check valves in sizes from ½” to 42” for seawater service to most of the major LNG projects around the world, both at LNG liquefaction sites such as Ras Laffan, South Pars and Sakhalin Island, and LNG regasification terminals such as Adriatic LNG. The majority of these valves are nickel-aluminium bronze (NAB), although Shipham manufactures valves in a full range of exotic materials from bronze (gunmetal) to duplex, Hastelloy, Monel and titanium.
